Who is Jack Menghini?
I grew up as a student-athlete and have always been passionate about sports. I’ve worked across a variety of industries, including food & beverage, retail, fitness, and sports & entertainment. I’m currently pursuing my Master of Science in Digital Media at USC. Below are some articles and spotlights from my time at USC and undergraduate time at LMU.
I have been spotlighted by USC in the Graduate Newsletter and I had the opportunity to write an article for the USC Career Center named How to market yourself on Campus: Making the most of USC’s Career Resources.
As a Trojan, I’ve embraced opportunities to lead and innovate at the intersection of sports, media, and technology. On October 23, I represented the University of Southern California at the second USC Next Level Sports Conference at Intuit Dome.
I was honored to serve on the social media team, where I had the opportunity to interview Saj Cherian, Head of Fanatics Ventures, and Anna Cejudo, Co-CEO and Co-Founder of Founderz, as well as assist in capturing quotes from panelists including Casey Wasserman, Roger Goodell, and others.
I also represented the University of Southern California at the inaugural USC Next Level Sports Conference at Intuit Dome on October 17. I was honored to join a panel alongside ESPN Chairman James Pitaro to discuss “Gen Z Consumers and the Future of ESPN.”
As a Trojan, I’ve taken every opportunity to explore innovation and leadership through unique experiences. Recently, I was honored to be selected as one of 16 students for the exclusive Apple Career Trek, organized by the USC Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism and Annenberg Career Development.
On April 17th & 19th, I received the 2024 Undergraduate Student Employee of the Year award for my contributions to Loyola Marymount University’s Fritz Burns Recreation Center as a facility supervisor. It was an honor to be recognized among 3,200 other student employees. I extend my heartfelt gratitude to my peers and colleagues for the nomination. Being celebrated during Employee Appreciation Week and SASLA Convocation was extremely gratifying. Thank you for this incredible honor! GO LIONS!
